HEY GUYS DON’T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THIS MOVIE….MANY LOCAL CARS AND YES MODIFIER MEMBER (BOB G.) HAS HIS CARS IN THIS RELEASE….
My dream was to have a 50’s classic car. One day in September 2006, I saw a 1950 Dodge Coronet parked on the side of the road with a For Sale sign. It was raining. My wife suggested that I turn around and take a closer look. I copied down the phone number, called the seller, took a test ride and the rest is history.

Modifiers Car Club,Toys for Tots at Corcoran and Havlin Insurance
The Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. The mission of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The stated goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

The Modifiers Car Club is an organization of car enthusiasts in the Metro West Boston area, who enjoy driving, talking-about, fixing, and restoring a broad spectrum of automobiles to include classic cars, customs and hot rods. The Modifiers Car Club was founded in 1962 by a group of high school car buddies in Wellesley, MA.
On Friday December 11th 2015, members of the Modifiers Car Club loaded their donation of toys into a pick-up truck and delivered them to a Toys for Tots drop box at the Corcoran & Havlin Insurance Group Wellesley, MA. This has become an annual tradition for the Modifiers who have a numbers of ex-Marines members.
How appropriate that Santa’s Sleigh was a 1957 GMC Pickup Truck and Rudolph, leading the sleigh was a 1948 Ford appropriate (checkout the video).
Santa and his Elves were met at the drop box location by Jack Keefe and everyone helped unload and add the Modifiers toys to the stash collected by Corcoran & Havlin Insurance Group. The combined toy load was to be delivered to a central collection point later that day.
It was a fun and rewarding day. It brought back many fond memories of when we were children remembering the joy of opening presents at Christmas. Everyone felt good about helping those less fortunate as we pictured the smiles on the children when they received their unexpected toys It was a privilege for the Modifiers to participate in such a worthy cause.
