Let’s all give a shout-out to Modifiers Car Club member Jere M, who won a 1st place trophy in the American Classic category with his 1957 Ford Sky Liner retractable hard-top at the Northeast Classic Vic Memorial Car Show held on September 30th at the Adesa Auction Center in Framingham, MA.
In 1972 Jere bought his 1957 Ford convertible hardtop for $300 without a motor or tires and has been restoring his beauty off and on since them. If you’re interested in seeing some of the work he’s been up to checkout the video from earlier this year showing his work in progress.
Great job Jere not only for yourself but representing the Modifiers Car Club.
Under cloudy skies (but no rain), the 2017 Modifiers Car Show was held September 16th at the Wellesley Community Center. The sun did finally came out around 2 pm. We had a good turnout and everyone had a great time.
Members helped by Manning the walk-in table, Directing traffic into the show, Handing out registration forms, Accepting registrations and fees, Working the food concession, Selling raffle tickets, Taking pictures, Getting the trophies and Emceeing the awards. Whew, it takes a lot of people to throw a successful car show. Thanks to everyone. Special thanks to Tommy, our DJ, who keeps the tunes playing. Continue reading →
