Modifiers Car Show September 16th, 2017

Under cloudy skies (but no rain), the 2017 Modifiers Car Show was held September 16th at the Wellesley Community Center. The sun did finally came out around 2 pm. We had a good turnout and everyone had a great time.

Members helped by Manning the walk-in table, Directing traffic into the show, Handing out registration forms, Accepting registrations and fees, Working the food concession, Selling raffle tickets, Taking pictures, Getting the trophies and Emceeing the awards. Whew, it takes a lot of people to throw a successful car show. Thanks to everyone. Special thanks to Tommy, our DJ, who keeps the tunes playing.

There were many great cars to vote for and the awards given were as follows:

  • Best Of Show – Wendall – 1940 Packard
  • People’s Choice

As we’ve done in the past we will post video’s to let everyone know what charities the club has voted on to support this year. In past years we have made donations to organizations such as: Toys our Us, Wellesley Food Pantry and Hospice.

Hope to see you all next year.
